Radioactive Decay Project
This project we learned about exponential growth and decay. We learned how to graph parabolas, and we also learned how to make exponential tables. Then, we had to research an isotope, and put our new learning into use.
Project ReflectionThis project was a perfect example of how our learning will be used in the real world. This project showed that something as difficult as exponential growth and decay, are actually used in society. One thing I wish I did differently, was make my poster board look better and make it more professional.

Math Test November 18, 2013
|
During my first semester in Algebra I have learned a lot, not only about math but also about myself as a learner and grades I can amount to. This piece of work was a math test that we took in November. I chose to show this piece of work because I felt like I did a very well on this test. One reason I am proud of this work is because I got a good grade on the test and I learned a lot about the material that was on the test. Evidence for this is my test score. This test score shows perseverance. This shows perseverance because instead of just trying to get the test done fast and not try on it, I just did my best and powered through even though I didn't want to take the test. Another reason I am proud of my test is because of how much I had learned. Evidence for this is because I have an A in math class still. And if I didn't learn much about the material Effi was teaching I would be falling behind and not have as good of a grade as I do now. More evidence is I am still doing well on tests, and I feel like if I just buckle down and do the test I will continue to get good grades. And during this I also learned how to be a better student. I became a better student by studying and helping out my friends learn the material. Evidence for this is because I have became a better student I have good grades in all of my classes. This shows that I learned how to advocate for myself when I didn't understand something or had trouble with something. During my math class I learned a bunch. I learned more about graphing, witting and solving equations, and glad to say that I am excited to continue my Algebra 1 learning. During my math class I learned that once I apply myself I can get good grades and learn a lot more, but I actually have to apply myself.
